[There's a genial voice over the network. Those who have been here before will recognize it as belonging to Professor Andrew Johnson.]

I'm not sure I'm understanding. You guys are upset about being stuck here, but then when we get a great many of you home, you're upset? Don't you all want to get home too? Talk to me. We're trying to do what we can. But if you keep changing your minds... Well, there's really not much we can do to redirect the process, since we can't figure out how to target and send specific people home. But we could stop everything and try to figure out directing.

Oi, you brought us here, we spend time, make friends, and then they're taken away. Aren't we allowed to be a bit upset at that ?

Not to mention, you're claiming you're sending them back. Could be the Animus for all we know. From what I've seen so far, you seem to be doing a bit fat nothign about us.

... I do not understand your logic, sir.

Would you not be upset if someone that you've developed bonds with suddenly disappeared ? Just showing feelings at someone's disappearance is not necessarily asking to stay there.

There are some people who'd rather not go back, but seeing someone go suddenly is enough to make anyone sad. Unless, of course, you are so far removed from normal feelings that you cannot comprehend this.

Just don't bring him here.

[Now is he talking about Zack or Sephiroth? I wonderrrrr.]

The Animus don't want to lose their toys. Why would they send any of you home?

[identity profile] adstring-npc.livejournal.com 2009-10-11 01:39 am (UTC)(link)
No, it makes sense when viewed that way. I was thinking of it from the viewpoint of people wanting to get home, instead of those left behind.

...Right.

How do you proceed to send people back ?

[identity profile] kannon-sama.livejournal.com 2009-10-11 08:28 pm (UTC)(link)
Why do they do any of the things that they do ? Why would they let you send us back if that was the case ?

It sounds suspiciously like you're taking credit for something that could be a random flukes.

It's a matter of wavelengths and frequencies, and reversing specific frequencies until we find a combination that resonates. Then we can adjust the harmonics... It's complicated.

Random, yes. Fluke, no. We all want to get home.

... yeah, you'll have to believe my skepticism. You haven't really been showing that you guys have any freaking idea of what you're doing, after all.

It does indeed sound complicated.

Whatever you want to believe.

At least it's normal for the people in the underground. And that are many.
