[At 3:00 AM, Monday December 8th, an earthquake tears through the city. Several buildings, already damaged by the compression and further weakened by the blizzard come crashing down.
The highway running between the Northwest and Southwest splits, creating a large rift and making direct travel difficult between the two sections.
In the City Center, alarms go off as a building in the Southeast quarter gives way and crashes down, a part of it smashing into the wall separating the City Center from the rest of the Safezone.
At the lake, the water thrashes violently before settling.
The fences surrounding the Safezone flicker and fade slightly, several forms sneaking in before the fences stabilize.
