It must be hard for any of you to do anything, when you're broken in pieces. Is there any of you that's the closest to being whole?

I see... And it's because all of you are broken that you can't get home, as far as I can tell.

Why say too close to being whole? I can understand that sentiment if it's a factor on which of you has more of a say in what happens. Is what they want bad, or scary?
