[Static. Static that gives way to a blurry, shaky camera arc, clearing on a section of the wall outside of the Inner City. But like the Animus posts, there's no PCD on the other side of the recording. It just... is, transmitting itself with no apparatus.

The image eventually sharpens. A small fish- mostly green- swims in quick loops, darting around the screen. Considering all the water, it doesn't look out of place.

A single voice finally cuts in, though it fades in and out.]

It's much brighter out here.

[Something has left the Inner City.]

[Waits until Raven gets there before replying- seeing her, and swimming over. Being that it's a fish, it doesn't have much expression, but it darts around. In size, it's not much bigger than her hand.]

[Raven looks a the fish, swimming around her. It reminds her of her kitten now that he's been transformed into some fish. But he's bigger than Thalatte.]

Not wanting to repeat bad things is a very sensible idea.

You're quite smaller than I expected. Is it difficult for you to take a physical form?

[Darting in, it nibbles her hand; it doesn't feel like much.]

[Fran swam as fast as his little froggy legs could to the coordinates, giving a small noise of greeting before choosing to float next to Raven, just...staring at this fish.]

I would expect that a being like you would be bigger too.

Meaning part of you remained inside the Inner City or that you divided youself into several fishes?

[Raven quirks a quizzical eyebrow at that.] What are you doing exactly? Tasting me?

[So many people. The fish darts over to Fran next- almost too quick to follow, then stops in front of him, staring with blank, fish eyes. In a stab of movement it nips. He might recognize the sensation, but at least it's only one fish this time.

Then it swims lazily back around the three, though it gives a rather stoic look at Castiel (not that it has much range of expression to begin with.

And whenever it speaks, it's like it's coming from inside your head.]

What would you like to know? What would you like us to show you?

[The nip- it does get some surprise, or at least as much surprise as Fran's froggy face can show. It felt exactly like what they did to him in the inner city; even this ocean was similar...]

[Giving a side eye to Castiel and Raven, he refocuses on the fish.]

Shouldn't we be asking you the questions, actually?

You wanted help moving beyond this location; is there somewhere you would like to go?

[Its tail flicks in Fran's direction.]

Where do you live? We want to see it.

[Raven just glances over at Fran. They have to show they don't mean harm. And so it Thalatte wants to see where Fran lives, so be it. But she's not quite sure Fran will agree to it.]

[Fran floats, thinking- and then flips over, pointing a webbed foot.]

I didn't know you wanted more people to be a part of the slumber party.

Why did they chase you away?

[The fish swims further ahead, in the right direction, though never gets too far from the group.]

[Raven follows, but at some point she grabs onto Castiel's arm, hoping he won't mind. Because it's easier to keep up that way, he swims more effortlessly than she does. Which seems rather unlogical since fishtails are supposed to be made for that.]

I agree. Collaboration makes each member of a team stronger and usually achieves better results than working alone.

They don't like you because you want to help us?

[Castiel seems to be the go-to guy for transportation, so Fran settles on his back, loosely hanging on.]

Unless your comrades are absolutely useless.

Is there really that much disagreement among all of you?

[Thalatte can't really settle on Castiel herself, but she stays nearby.]

[Fran doesn't really seem to value teamwork, which irks Raven. Though, she has to say his comment is true enough. Besides, discussing the advantages of teamwork is not really the main topic on today's agenda, so. She looks at the small fish when she hears her answer.]

The scientists? Did you see some of the projects they were working on?

[There's another question she wishes to ask but she knows asking too many in a row will lead nowhere. So she holds it back for now.]

[The answer doesn't please nor frustrate Fran, but it does inspire more questions. He'll stick to one for now.]

[Man, Castiel is a comfy seat.]

How many groups are there of the animus? How many names are there, is what I'm asking.

Are the... 'Not-you' other groups with the Animus, or other beings in the Inner City?

[She skims over Raven's hair, before doubling back, almost trying to settle down on Fran's head. Her tail flicks his head as she counts]

Did you help them?

[Raven listens attentively and takes mental notes, checking Thalatte's list against the groups she already knows of: the fire, the orchid and the fish.]

What about the sword and the rose? [And more importantly.] What about her? That "she" you keep warning us against?

[They were going the right way, actually. Fran gives no resistance to the fish on his head.]

[Group names were a new thing, and Fran is making sure to record this conversation.]

[He's hesitant- there's a thing that's been chewing at his mind. Hitsugaya always pushed it aside, kept it merely as a bad thought that they weren't looking to prove true or not. But he wants to know, to just confirm or deny that feeling.]

[He'll wait, though, until Raven's question is answered.]
