[There's the usual static hum on everyone's PCD, as the screen goes black. After a moment, a low flute tone starts up, continuing as a background melody throughout. For anyone who hears it, it would sound vaguely familiar, from their home world- though played inexpertly, as if they couldn't entirely remember how it was supposed to go.]
too soon, too early
calm down, take a breath we're still setting up
we'll take it apart
you always do
too soon, too early
not quickly enough
we'll take it apart
you always do
we can carry it ourselves
is it really necessary
finally, that's better
wait what's going on

... fine. You said earlier that you hadn't heard that name in awhile -- is one of you Tiamat? Are you?

Hello.
Do you want me to call you Thalatte instead -- or are they two different people?

So you're part of the same group -- but you each must have different powers. One of you said you controlled fire -- you must have different names outside of Thalatte.

we have preferences, you know
the fire's very one note
Apocalypse this, that, the other-
it's repetitive

So is the one who controls fire the only one who controls an element? What do the rest of you control?
Whose idea was it to flood the city?
no subject
though not descriptive
it was hers; she was sad it didn't work
We all were.

It was a woman? One of you is a woman?
Can I talk to her?

Sorry -- it's hard to tell sometimes when you all speak at once or argue with each other -- the PCDs aren't exactly great at sending the right messages from you all.
Is this you, then? The one who wanted the city to flood? Or was it someone else?
no subject
for nowthe other-other her likes floods
the fire didn't like that, but it wasn't its turn
Not that we could read the skies either.
no subject
How do you know the flood didn't work?
no subject
And of course it didn't work.
Didn't see the bodies we wanted.
no subject
What bodies did you want to see? Do they have names?
no subject

Do you remember your own name?

... the next time we speak, if I find a name you like better than Thalatte, will you tell me more?
