[Static. Static that gives way to a blurry, shaky camera arc, clearing on a section of the wall outside of the Inner City. But like the Animus posts, there's no PCD on the other side of the recording. It just... is, transmitting itself with no apparatus.

The image eventually sharpens. A small fish- mostly green- swims in quick loops, darting around the screen. Considering all the water, it doesn't look out of place.

A single voice finally cuts in, though it fades in and out.]

[She's already on the way out, taking that angler fish type mermaid form when in the water and swimming towards the inner city.]

I admit, I don't know where you are exactly... Is it possible to send coordinates the way you have a feed open?

Cracks... Does the wall look like it was many pieces that are about the same shape stuck together? I think I'm closing in.

[At least she's gotten to a point where she can find something to lock onto and follow. Maybe grab a catfish to snack on along the way so she doesn't get tempted by the colorful little fish.]

Not to mention how much smaller you are compared to it, right?

[She's certainly closing in to the location, glowing lure on the head and all. Part of the time she was looking over a few of the other feeds just to check some things. Just around the ~~riverbend~~ corner and she's ready to call out.]

[And the fish is there when she arrives. Maybe it was the same fish as before, maybe it was an entirely different, identical fish.

But it swims sedately over when she calls.]

Ah, where... I can take you along the route I usually fly. It really does give you a chance to look around the city and out to the walls.

It certainly is one way, yes. Another is talking to others, reading, or trying to experience it for yourself.

[Extends hand out some- She almost wants to see if the fish is actually there, physically. It's hard to completely accept after seeing them on the screen for so long.]

It depends on how much and what you want to understand. If it's the people here, the best way is to talk and be around the ones you know won't try to harm or take advantage of you.

[Approaches her hand without hesitation, nipping lightly at a finger before swimming around her wrist in circles.]

It's probably hard because so many are trying, while so many are trying to do other things, huh?
